Most people who have tried the Banting lifestyle (and done it properly) will rapidly have their own personal list of reasons why they love the LCHF lifestyle … here are just a few from us …
- It’s SO much easier to eat out whilst still maintaining your LCHF principles! You will find several option on the menu even in restaurants that don’t have Banting Menus. And there are actually a load of restaurant who now cater specifically to Banters.
- You just don’t get hungry! If you’re eating enough fat for breakfast, you genuinely don’t get hungry during the day! I LOVE this … stopping to make a healthy lunch was always a problem for us and it was too easy to reach for the bread to make quick toast or something equally carb heavy.
- You feel satiated when you eat. We’re so used to being on the kind of diets that are about deprivation that being “good” with food meant being hungry, unsatisfied, or bored! What a difference this is!
- We eat like Kings and Queens and the weight steadily comes off! Need I say more?
- Your grocery cupboard is so beautifully lean and mean! Once all the pastas, rices, flours, sugars, biscuits, cereals, etc. are out, you have a grocery cupboard filled with pure, natural health … just looking at that makes you feel healthier!
- Grocery shopping is easy! You very quickly establish a shopping list that is easy to shop for.
- Cheese, olives, bacon! That is all!
Things we’ve noticed since starting Banting …
- Lips less dry – not having to reach for lip balm incessantly
- Dark under-eye circles greatly improved
- Cellulite greatly improved
- Sinus cleared up
- Less aches and pains
- Much more energy
- Less sleep required
- Better periods (for ladies)
- No sugar lows
- Consistent, realistic weight loss.
