Sometimes your weight loss will slow down or stop for a few days or weeks. Don’t get despondent … This is pretty normal.
There are some things you can try in order to kickstart your weight loss again.
- Examine what you are eating. Log what you’re eating in an app like My Fitness Pal and make sure you’re eating the right proportions of fat, protein and carb.
- Make sure you’re getting enough fat. Choose meat fat and the allowed oils, butter, etc.
- Watch your dairy intake. If a large amount of your fat is coming from dairy, try limiting this for a few days and adding fattier meats and fat from things like avo, coconut oil, etc. instead. Some people need to eat less dairy than others. You can even try eliminating dairy completely for a few day and see how your body responds.
- If you aren’t hungry, skip the odd meal. A fast is good once in a while.
